Hello, we are Russ and Rosan Sprinkles. We grew up right here in Gaston County and are high school sweet hearts from South Point High School in Belmont, NC. After high school, Russ left to go to NC State for his studies while Rosan attended Belmont Abbey College. Russ graduated from NC State in 2000 with his Bachelors Degree in Animal Science (Suma Cume Laude). He then went on to the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine to obtain his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Rosan went on to get a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Belmont Abbey College. Rosan has a background in human medicine and has learned a great deal about veterinary medicine in the last few years. We have a son named Caden. He is five years old and requires most of our time when we are not working. He loves to do all of the normal things that kids his age do. Caden has truly been a blessing to both of us.
People always want to know how many pets we have at home at home. Most all of our pets have joined us via the phrase, "let's just keep it until we find a good home". Years later, they are still with us. Right now we have Sara, our chihuahua. Dusty, Laura, and Mia are out cats. We also have pet fish and “orange fishy” is Caden’s favorite. We will probably end up having a lot more pets as Caden gets a little older. When we have free time from work, we like to go to Putt Putt, watch movies, go camping, mountain biking, and just enjoy God’s many blessings around us.
We opened Grace Animal Hospital in December of 2006. After a long search of trying to find the right location for us, we found it here! We have come to meet and know so many wonderful people that will hopefully be lifetime clients. Thanks to all of you for being such great clients and friends to us. We appreciate your business and look forward to being here for many years to come. Our dream of opening a veterinary hospital has come true and we owe it to our wonderful clients.
My name is Beth Guffey. I have been at Grace Animal Hospital since December
of 2006. I have been in this field for about 6 years. I love working with animals
and all of our wonderful clients. I was born and raised in Gastonia. I have been
married to my wonderful husband Joe for almost one year. We share our home
with our pets Leon, the cat, and our dogs Daisy, Abby, and our newest addition,
Tank. In my spare time I do a lot of pet sitting. I love spending time with my
family, hanging out with friends, shopping, traveling to the beach and going
camping in the mountains. I hope you and your pet will come be a part of our
family here at Grace Animal Hospital. Hope to see you soon!!
Hey,
My name is Katherine Sebastian. I am the newest team member here at Grace. I have
been working in the veterinary field for about 8 years. I graduated from Gaston College
in 2002 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. I enjoy working at Grace
because of the warm, family atmosphere and our wonderful clients. I live in Mount
Holly with my husband, Justin, and our 3 kitties, Mojo, Luna,, and Capri. In my spare
time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, and reading.
My name is Catherine Payne, most people know me at “Cat”. I have been at
Grace Animal Hospital since November of 2007. I have been working in this
field for 11 years. Animals are my passion and I love what I do. I was born and
raised in charlotte, but have only been in Gastonia for about 4 years. My family is
from Canada and that’s where I would love to live one day. I have many animals
that are my “kids”. I have two dogs, Millie and Gracie; 2 cats, Jumper and
Ceaser, and an umbrella cockatoo named Echo. Outside of caring for animals, I
love to spend time with my family and especially my nephews and niece. I also
enjoy any outdoor activities, Virginia Tech football games, spending time with
close friends and enjoying one day at a time.
Hello Eveyone,
My name is Travis Kistler. I am currently a college student and have been working part time for Grace Animal Hospital for almost two years now and I enjoy it very much. Outside the workplace, my hobbies and interests include a variety of things including music, singing and playing guitar, politics, and current events. I also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, hunting, and running, and mixed martial arts classes. I have lived in Gastonia my entire life and I am proud and blessed to have a supportive family. I have a beagle named Wishbone.
I enjoy my job at Grace Animal Hospital. The comfortable and genial work atmosphere provided by Dr. Sprinkles makes for a great place to work as well as to care for your animals.
My name is Terry Brown. I have been a veterinary assistant for about eight years now. I have been married to my wonderful, minister husband for 27 years. We have three grown children, Kyle, Amy, and Alex. I enjoy being actively involved in my church and reading mysteries. Watching professional football is one of my favorite past times, but I enjoy all outdoor activities and sports. I also enjoy playing with my dogs Reba and Honey.
My job here at Grace allows me to meet many wonderful pets and their people. I look forward to meeting you.
